Early in January 2010 I was introduced to the Human Energy Concealment clothing and I’m sure like most of you I was extremely skeptical. After arguing over it with several of my friends I decided to give it a shot and see if there was anything to it.

My quarry was a group of turkeys that I had been hunting for two weeks with another friend, so I knew they were pressured and call shy. The night of my maiden trial of the suit I went in to set up and bumped the flock on the way. I hurriedly set up the Double bull blind and did a set of 3 yelps. This bird came in to 20 yards and offered a shot, which I took and after harvesting found out I hit him just in front of the tail feathers in his hindquarter. He started to walk away and I made two quick yelps form my mouth call. He came right in to the blind and offered me a 5 yard shot which was his undoing! Never have I seen a turkey that's been shot stick around and NEVER coming back in for another shot opportunity.

Anyone that has hunted or spent time around animals has had the feeling that something is looking at them; more often than not you look up and see a trophy buck staring right at you! Finally after 30 years of bow hunting someone has figured out that something other than the animal’s magical abilities is responsible. That spike in electrical energy that everyone gives off is alerting the animal and triggering its eye sight and other senses to kick in.

I used the HECS system on a spot and stalk mule deer hunt in Wyoming this fall and had some interesting results. I was able to walk through a heard of range cattle without spooking them, and close to within 15 yards of two mule deer bucks. They looked up at me and I was busted out right; but amazingly they then continued feeding and walked off. I also had an interesting experience in Texas; I spent 10 hours every day in a very hot ground blind with several deer within 8 to 10 yards. I was able to harvest a mature buck on that hunt and he never moved until the arrow was coming out the other side of him. Thanks Guys, I’m looking forward to some more new experiences.

I have personally tested and used HECS Sixth Sense Apparel on several hunts this year including a recent African Safari, where I managed to take several SCI trophies including a huge Kudu bull. I am very impressed with the results I have had in the field. Whether stalking, blind hunting, or sitting in a tree stand the animals are in a more relaxed state and seem less aware of my movement and presence.
